Germasogeia is a suburb of Limassol and has been an independent municipality since 1994. It borders with the municipalities of Limassol and Agios Athanasios. There is the dam of Germasogeia, which was built in 1969. It is built on the northern boundaries of Germasogeia about 4km from the coastal area and receives water from the Amathos river.
