Pyrgos is a village of Limassol located about 13 kilometres from the east of the city with an average altitude of 85 meters. To the southeast, it borders the village of Moni and to the west, the village of Pareklissia. In the Pyrgos community there is an old medieval watermill and investigations have led to the discovery of a laboratory for the production of copper. Lastly, to the east of the tourist area of Limassol is the unique beach ‘Aoratoi’ which belongs to the Pyrgos community. It is 1000 meters length with blue and crystal clear waters with golden sandy beaches.
